Variations





About the interpretations: I chose the characters and/or scenes over the meaning, not the name of the card. So, they're not meant to be taken literally. As for the characteristics of the cards I used in my choices, I made a resume of the parts of the interpretation that fitted (more or less) the characters over here. There are some cards, like Greed's one, where the meaning sounds odd for the character. That's because the choice is more about imagery than the character in those cases, or just because I needed to make cards of this or that character badly.

So, don't take it seriously or anything. Don't remind me Gluttony is not a fool, that you think the relationship between Roy and Riza is debatable, or tell me you don't think Envy is teh ebil or things like that. Mkay?

Wow, the characters you chose perfectly match my choices XD I was thinking that Roy will be a perfect Magician, while Izumi is the High Priestess. The Fool is either Gluttony, or Edward. Lover is of course, Royai.

Very, very cool. As someone who's been studying the tarot for...nearly 30 years now...I'm highly impressed by the images you've chosen (though I don't know all the characters represented yet).

Thanks a lot! I've always been unable to properly learn Tarot I swear it hates me! I always get I Ching and the Runes to give me good readings, but not Tarot, no sir, so coming from an expert is a nice compliment ^_^

Wow. I'm totally and utterly in awe O___O You've done a wonderful job, it shows just how much though you have put in this <333 I love your interpretations (I read them all) -- and now me having chosen Roy for "The Emperor" just proves I know crap about the Tarot (despite having read a little about its meanings just to be sure I wasn't screwing up too much).

But well, you probably know by now about my fetish with Roy and the words "king", "emperor" and so on XDD; And "The Lovers" one -- well, you totally won me there, of course. Anyway, this is absolutely beautiful, kudos to you! :D

(Just one little thing -- I think you're missing one "I" in "The Moon" ^^;)

Yo tampoco sé un coño de Tarot (me odia, te juro que me odia T_T), pero me leí los significados varias veces antes de hacer las elecciones definitivas. Y me costó; algunos personajes más obvios rodaron más de posición que no sé qué. Roy como El Mago fue uno de los primeros que elegí, porque además fue de los primeros significados que leí. Lo tenía claro desde el principio. Me pareció que era clavado a él: lo de carismático y con don de masas, y hasta la parte de trickster que es parte del lado negativo tiene su base, considerando que Roy ha engañado a la gente un par de veces (Maria Ross? El asunto del phone sex?) Lo de The Lovers lo tuve claro también, sobre todo porque quería dejarle The Strength a Armstrong y quería que Riza saliera en la baraja de todos modos. Si supieras que me costó elegir la imagen, y al final usé una al azar -_- No estoy nada satisfecha con The Lovers, visualmente hablando.

Pero hey, lo de emperador sí tiene sentido, considerando que es líder nato. Y tu icon estuvo precioso <3 No como los míos que son sosos y todos calcados (aunque lo hice adrede para que tuvieran un feeling de baraja)
